'Souls takes place in a post-apocalyptic version of present-day Nova Scotia, Canada. As such, its territories are on a large peninsula extending southeast of New Brunswick and south of Prince Edward Island. Still, despite being based largely on real-life Nova Scotia, not everything lines up perfectly geographically. Our version of the province is below!

  Bâtons et  Pierres — The "Sticks and Stones" territories include Halcyon Mountain, The Waste, and Drifter Bay.
  Élévation Orientale —The "Eastern Rise" territories include the The Dampwoods, Arachnea's Revenge, Quartz Shoreline, and Whisper Beach.
  Sable et Rivages — The "Sand and Shores" includes the territories of Halifax, Shattered Coast, Shiloh Hills, and The Trenches.
  Dans l'Obscurité — The "In the Shadows" territories contain Overgrowth Sunrise, Ethereal Eclipse, Serena Reserve, Beast's Grin Peninsula, Yarmouth and Barrington, and Fellmoor Swamp.

Flora — Most flora of 'Souls is typical of Canada. The majority of the trees are spruce, fir, birch, pine and maple trees.

Fauna — Common carnivorous, competitive species are foxes, grizzly bears, lynx, and cougars. Grizzly bears are formidable opponents for even a large group of wolves. Lynx are smaller cats and generally do not interfere with any wolf life, but Cougars, the larger, more dangerous big cats of Canada, are likely to attack a wolf. Certain other predators which were not native to Canada may have escaped zoos, but only the occasional non-North American big cat or dangerous predator is seen. Foxes include the Arctic, Red, and Swift foxes.

Of the herbivore species, common wild prey animals include moose, mountain goats, elk, and three species of deer—the Whitetail tear, the Blacktail deer, and Mule deer. Many domesticated animals, which had lived on farms or zoos for much of their lives, escaped human confines after the apocalypse, and became wild again. Feral domesticated animals such as horses, cows, sheep, pigs, and goats are commonplace in 'Souls. Smaller creatures include chipmunks, rabbits, raccoons, skunks, and squirrels, both red and gray. Martens, lemmings, gophers, wolverines, groundhogs, and porcupines are also common sights.

'Souls is also home to many species of snake, most notably, both the Timber and Western Rattlesnakes, both of which are highly poisonous. Other snakes include the brown snake, rat snake, and many species of garter snakes.

There are many species of birds which make their home in 'Souls. Crows, Ravens, Red-Tailed Hawks, Bald Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, Piping Plovers, American Robins, Blue Jays, Mallards, and Canadian Geese are common sights.

Coastline and water-dwelling animals include sea lions and otter. Our fish species include salmon, trout, and bass.
