Joining
To join, create a new topic with the word 'joining' somewhere in the title or description, or the letter 'j' shown in some form. In each case, you will only be accepted once one of the leaders, Anna (Pilot Haddon) or Tammi (Tayui Aston) post a welcoming message or have you titled.
If you are interested in joining, please take a look at the two ways you can do this: out of character or in character. Out of character joining is faster since it requires only one post (yours) before you are accepted or denied. IC joining is longer, but gives you a feel of what the pack is like and lets you roleplay with one or two characters. Your character will also have an official acceptance to go by in your in character record.
Any character of the genus canis can join: this means wolves, coyotes and jackals are all welcome!
The player wishing to join will roleplay a joining thread with a greeter. Sometimes one of the leaders will reply for the thread's entirety, but oftentimes, you will be greeted by a wolf of the rank Periokoi or higher.
It is expected of a newcomer to wait near the borders, but not so close it is threatening. The character should howl to a pack member to announce its presence. A greeter will question the character's reasons for joining, its skills, and and anything else they feel necessary to ask. If the greeter finds the newcomer acceptable, or is impressed, they will howl for a leader to evaluate them and hopefully accept them.

You also have the option of joining OOC'ily, in which case you would post one of the two following forms. The first requires a description of the character's appearance and history, while the second requires three posts you have made (ie: three different threads) with a character. This can be from any rpg; we would just like to see an example of what you can do!

Post-Acceptance
As a board-wide rule, once a player's character has been accepted into the pack, they should make an IC post within five days of this or they will be removed and required to go through the joining process again.
